Stockholm water symposium

The 12th Stockholm water symposium is organised by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) to discuss the current status of water crisis in different parts of the world. (for details: www.siwi.org) During the past era growing water needs have been met by water resource development projects. However, in some regions water supply can only be marginally increased for varied reason. From August 11 – 17, the experts and decision makers from different disciplines with a common interest in water resources management, will meet in Stockholm city conference centre. For the young water professionals, SIWI has instituted a prize. A special seminar has also been organised for them to air their views and concerns on August 11.

Can you suggest some issues, which this symposia could address?
